Below, Laura gives advice for the cost conscious bride and tips for event design.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>How did you get started as an event planner?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I began my career planning corporate and social events for a Mircrobrewery in the Washington, D.C. area.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Tell us a little bit about Eventfull Planning and what makes your team special?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Eventfull Planning is a full service event planning company. We work with wedding, social, corporate, and non-profit clients. We are experienced, organized, detail-oriented and imaginative.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Are there certain design elements or &#8220;tricks of the trade&#8221; you use to make your events spectacular?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>We really listen to our clients. We work closely with them to create events that are reflective of their personal taste and style- making each event truly unique.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Where do you find your design inspiration?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Fashion and travel magazines! I used to work in the fashion industry. I try to draw inspiration from trends outside of the event industry.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>What was your inspiration for the A Classic Party Rental tablescapes? Do you have a favorite?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The rustic chic table is very on trend. Barn weddings are very popular now. I wanted to show how you could use burlap and lace to create a look that is more elevated.<\/p>\n<p>The navy table is inspired by the use of textured fabrics and mixed metals in fashion. Navy is a great alternative to black. It&#8217;s perfect for a Fall\/Winter event.<\/p>\n<p>The coral\/orange table was inspired by the fashion trend called color blocking. This tone-on-tone table is bright and fresh- perfect for a spring\/summer event.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t have a favorite look. I hope each table will speak to different clients.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>What 3 things are most important to remember when throwing a party?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. Know your audience (your guest of honor and guest list).<br \/>\n2. Keep it simple.<br \/>\n3. Have fun!<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>What advice would you give the cost conscious bride?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Hire a planner! We can help develop a realistic working budget and keep things on track.
